Anybody?

This is what our dining room table has looked like for the past two days:

Hopefully, someone, somewhere, sometime, somehow will git the time and inclination to deck the halls with them.  If not for a tree that looks shamefully naked, but also, that we can enjoy a festive dinner ON the table.

What wonderful, sparkly colors.

I just went into the attic this morning and got things down to decorate with. Seeing peoples Christmas blogs got me inspired.

Looking forward to seeing your decorated home.

It all looks very jolly, Mind you I have never worked out how you cope with all the snowy, icy stuff in the middle of your summer. Incongruous seems to come to mind.

Hi Helen
They look lovely and will be worth the trouble when finished. Make sure you post the results.

Beautiful, beautiful bulbs. Don't sweat over Christmas though I know it is easy to fall into this trap. If you run out of time, why not simply put baskets of your coloured bulbs all over the house? Just like they are now, except off of your table so you can dine there. I hope you will be able to rest, relax and enjoy the best of the season with your loved ones. Peace.

It's so easy to plonk things down and just leave them there - I've got piles of papers on our sideboard and every time I pass them I think oh tut, I must sort them out and then dismiss it from my mind. A bit like your bowls really. They do look pretty all laid out like that though.
